Catering to both casual gamers and enthusiasts, Michigan Liar's Dice accommodates one to three players, presenting a user-friendly interface that facilitates strategic decision-making during bidding rounds. The game features a comprehensive set of bid options, including pushing, exact guess, passing, and specific rules for when a player has only one die remaining.

This game was developed by the Soar research group at the University of Michigan, leveraging the powerful Soar cognitive architecture as the foundation for its AI system. Soar is a versatile cognitive framework employed in various domains such as training, gaming, and robotics, exemplifying its adaptability in creating intelligent agents.

The AI opponent in the game employs probabilities, heuristics, and opponent modeling to inform its bidding strategies (without incorporating machine learning capabilities, at present).
